Going out in Parikia

The distinction between cafes and bars in Greece is a little hazy to say the least as most bars serve coffee and most cafes have a wide selection of drinks.

Coffee lovers in Parikia are spoilt for choice. It's rare to be more than 50m away from a coffee shop, or cafe-bar anywhere within the town. Most serve alcoholic drinks as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks, and open from early in the morning until well, early in the morning. Hours are often whiled away over an iced Nescafe (frappe) or its' upstart cousins the Freddo Cappuccino and Espresso, (with or without milk)

Sunset views are spectacular, especially when viewed over a cocktail or two from one of the rooftop bars along the seafront. Later on the music bars start to fill up and the dancing starts. There's often live music somewhere in town, just ask around once you are here.
